REGISTRATION
TEAM ROSTERS
Team rosters are limited to the following number of players:
U11/12 (8 v 8) |

- A maximum of four guest players may be added to any roster.
- A player may play on only one (1) team in the tournament.
- A player must play for his primary team if his primary team is participating in the tournament.
- An official Team Roster signed by the Association Registrar must accompany the application (must be presented at check-in if applying online).
- A final Team Roster signed by the Association Registrar must be submitted at the time of check-in if there are any changes from the initial roster.
- An approved USYSA travel permit must be included with your application for Non-STYSA USA teams (must be presented at check-in if applying online).
- All US teams and players must be USYSA registered and must have insurance coverage.
MEDICAL RELEASE FORMS
- Medical release forms must be submitted for all players at the time of check-in or copies of US Youth Registration forms.
- The wearing of hard casts, whether padded or not, will not be permitted at any time.
- All knee braces containing metal or plastic, must be covered/padded in accordance to STYSA rules.
- No jewelry of any kind may be worn.
PLAYER ID CARDS & ADULT PASSES
- All teams are required to submit a laminated USYSA player card or FIFA Affiliate Card for each player with a picture (and signature for U-10 and older) of the player at the time of check- in. Players without a player card will not be permitted to participate in tournament competition.
- All Coaches, Asst. Coaches and Team Managers must have current KidSafe/Adult Participation Passes.
- Player cards shall be available for inspection by tournament officials at the site of each game.
LAWS OF THE GAME/OTHER
FIFA LAWS AS MODIFIED BY USYSA AND STYSA
- FIFA laws shall apply as modified by USYSA and STYSA, except as noted. All players must wear shin guards. No player will be allowed to play in the tournament competition without shin guards. No players wearing bandanas, casts or exposed knee braces will be allowed to play.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS
- U7-8 - Four (4) a side; U10 - Six (6) a side; U11-12 - Eight(8) a side; U13 through U19 - Eleven (11) a side.
- Minimum number of players required to start games: U7-8 - Three (3); U9 & U10 - Five (5); U11-12 - Six (6); U13 - U19 - Seven (7).
SUBSTITUTIONS
- Shall be unlimited, and can be made at the following times with the permission of the referee:
- Prior to throw-in, in your favor.
- Prior to goal kick by either team.
- After a goal, by either team.
- After an injury, by either team when the referee stops play.
- After a caution (yellow card) has been issued, so that player may be substituted.
- No player shall enter or leave the field of play without the permission of the referee.
- Exception: Substitutions are not allowed for players who have been sent off by the referee (i.e. receives a red card).
UNIFORMS
- All players will wear a jersey with a number on the back to distinguish that player from any other player on his/her respective team (i.e., no two players on the same team can participate in a match with the same number)
- Each team must have an alternate color jersey for each player in case of color conflict. First team listed on the schedule is home team and must change jersey if deemed necessary by the referee.

- Players shall be on one side of the field and spectators/parents will occupy the other side of the field
GAME SCHEDULES
- All game schedules are final as published. No changes will be permitted.
- Teams must be at game site (field) 15 minutes before scheduled game time and be ready for inspection by the Referee.
- Games must start at the scheduled time; no warm up on the fields will be permitted.
- Home Team will kick-off with visiting team selecting an end to defend.
PLAYING TIME (MINI GAMES, ROUND ROBIN QUALIFYING GAMES)
ACADEMY TEAMS
- Academy teams participating in this tournament will only play against other Academy teams. Tournament organizers will establish a level of play to accommodate Academy teams to avoid impacting non-Academy recreational teams. Recreational teams may choose to participate in a Recreational Plus level of play if they desire.

PLAY-OFF GAMES
- Playing time will be regulation time for age group as per STYSA rules (except as noted on schedules).
- Tie-breakers: Quarter-finals and Semi-finals: FIFA penalty kicks (no overtime).
- Finals: Two regulations overtime periods played to conclusion for age groups per STYSA rules, then FIFA penalty kicks (unless noted differently on the schedule).

REPORTING SCORES

Each team (coach or representative)-whether win, loss, or tie, must report the score of each game on the official scorecard to the scorers table at the Tournament Headquarters immediately following a game. If a team fails to present their official scorecard to the scorer’s table within one hour following their game, they will relinquish the right to contest the final score if inaccurate.

Referees are required to report all disciplinary actions taken before, during or after a game on an official game report, and to separately report all cases of serious misconduct to tournament headquarters immediately following the game in which the serious misconduct occurred.
- All cautions and send offs are reported to STYSA on the official Post Tournament Report immediately following the tournament.
REFEREE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE CONTROLLED BY THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE.
ALL REFEREE DECISIONS ARE FINAL. NO PROTESTS ARE ALLOWED.
THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE WILL HAVE FINAL JURISDICTION OVER ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE TOURNAMENT.
NO PETS ALLOWED AT FIELDS.
